The logs that I cut and split and used for heating my house and studio, or for building a fence, were also perfect for printing. They were beautiful in their own right. . . . This tree was planted by the founders of the Pequot Library in Southport, Connecticut, over a hundred years ago and was harvested in 2009. In this print, the even spacing of annual rings is indicative of a consistent growth environment. -BNG
